Return and Refund Policy

Ordering information:

• If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at sourthernnutmegleather@gmail.com or shoot us a message on Facebook or Instagram prior to placing an order! We are happy to help!

• If you don't know what size is best, measure your horse's current fitting headstall flat from where the leather starts at one side of the bit to where it ends at the other. We want your beautiful new piece to fit perfectly! 

• We're happy to custom build a headstall  or tack set to fit different size horses, like drafts or smaller horses!

• Please make sure your address is correct and up-to-date on PayPal, Facebook or anywhere else you may purchase from! We are not responsible if the item is shipped to a wrong address due to failure of the buyer to update their information.

We accept returns under the following terms:

• within 7 days from item delivery date

• Items must be brand new, unused, unaltered and in the same condition as when they arrived. Items that have been put on a horse are not eligible for return.  Please measure your horse (sizing for headstalls is bit to bit) if you are unsure of fit. See our sizing page for info!

• we do not cover shipping costs

• Once the item has arrived back with us, we will examine it and if the terms of returns have been met, we will refund the item cost back to the buyer through the original payment method.

• We DO NOT accept returns on custom orders

Damages and issues

• Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right as quickly as possible. 
• I stand by my work, so please let me know if there is any issue and I will do my best to make the situation right!
